“My friend and I stayed in the pet friendly cabin and I highly recommend! It’s a great location and we came to the campground after visiting Mount Magazine state park! The cabin was clean and comfy and had everything you needed! We stayed here after tent camping and enjoyed the amenities the cabin had like the hot shower, coffee machine and comfy bed. I enjoyed a cup of coffee on the front porch and then went for a walk in the city park which has a trail connected to the campground! It’s a great spot, I would definitely come back!.”

Right next to a very large city park with large open green space and a nature walking trail with both old school and ADA compliant playgrounds, basketball courts, and picnic areas. “This Lake Nimrod campgrounds was amazing! It’s easy to get to, and it’s surrounded by beautiful forest so it feels nice and secluded. It was quiet, and very well maintained with level and easy to get into spots. It also has easy access to a really nice park to walk the dogs. The owners are super friendly, very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back and plan on staying a little longer next time.”
